Masters regarding botanical specimens, in part: "Many thanks for your information. I have got Dickson's Catalogue, and I find they have got mot of the species I want, so I shall send for them. I had no idea they had such an extensive nursery, as they do not advertise so much as many others. I did not ask Dyer for them as he has given me some nice lots of alpine plantsâ€Â¦Thanks for the Thapsia seed, but I am afraid it is too large a plant for me, I will give it to Dr. Allman who has plenty of room."
