Kachurik and his uncle Ed Nesteruk, is known for their use of the highest quality crystal and a technique of coloring hot glass surfaces called veiling, which is a metallic coating applied to the hot glass, thus trapping the color inside. Their provocative, transparent sculptures display a gossamer quality that exemplifies the amazing potential of glass as an artistic medium.
