The antique glazed pottery spirit barrel with a turquoise ground presenting 'sherry' within floral gilt flourishes, has original brass tap; F. Sanders, 473 Oxford Street, London, circa mid 19th century. The barrel mounted over a rounded wood base and converted as a table lamp, has vintage wiring / components but in working order.

Condition; has mild expected age wear but very good overall. Approximately 28" H, base at 12.75" W.
