Circa 1905 Carved and Painted Double Seat Racing Derby Horse, probably by Herschell-Spillman, with added painted name "Upset" (after the only horse to have ever defeated Man 'O War; at the Saratoga Race Course in August 1919); with original painted surface and glass eyes, leather reins, all metal fittings, 60" high, 8'-7" x 24". Surface wear and paint losses, shrinkage cracks, left leg re-attached, wear/losses to reins.
