Hepplewhite Period Inlaid Mahogany Tilt-Top Candlestand, attributed to Langley Boardman (Portsmouth, NH, 1774-1833), having a crossbanded and string inlaid top, turned beehive form stem, and set on string inlaid spider legs, with original iron latch, 27 7/8" high (40 1/4"), 21 3/4" x 14 1/2". Old repair to one leg, top edge chip, veneer cracks.
