Elvis Presley Marble Piece From Original Mausoleum 1 of 573 - This is a limited edition piece of original marble from the family room at Forest Hill Cemetery Mid-Town Mausoleum in Memphis, Tennessee, where Elvis Presley and his mother Gladys were originally entombed. Elvis was buried in the mausoleum after his unfortunate passing on August 16th, 1977, and his mother Gladys' remains were disinterred from their original resting place at Forest Hill Cemetery and placed in the crypt just below his on August 26th, 1977. Elvis and his mother would eventually be moved to Graceland on October 2, 1977, where they rest today. This is a limited edition piece of the original marble from the mausoleum, mounted on wood board and part of a limited edition of only 573. The lot includes an information booklet about the piece which includes a statement of authenticity.
