Pair of archaistic Chinese urns, executed in stoneware with qingbai glaze, in the style of the Yuan dynasty, having conical lids with bird finials and loops around the exterior, above wide garlic head rims with matching loops, surmounting long necks with applied phoenixes and dragons above twelve robed figures, resting on smooth ovoid bases with recessed circular feet, having no apparent marks. Largest approx. h. 33".

Urn A- chips to bird finial wings and beak missing, neck cracked through and one of the 12 figures missing. Craquelure throughout Urn B - Head and part of wing missing on finial, chips to underside of lid, crazing on body.
