Description
Pair of French old Paris porcelain urns now mounted as lamps, 19th century, each having a figural domestic scene depicting a cavalier, possibly Charles I and his family, and landscape scene reserves, on later square stepped giltwood plinth with rosettes, apparently unmarked. Provenance: From the Private Collection of Helen Spitler, Cumming, Georgia. Approx. h. 21.5", sq. 5.5" (to socket); h. 13.5" (urn).
Condition
Loss to gilding, tested as working, no apparent chips, cracks, or restorations.
