Description

French/Continental oversized three piece gilt bronze mounted garniture set in the Louis XVI taste, comprising a clock and pair of urns, each having a porcelain urn form body decorated in the manner of Sevres with gilt detail, and reserves decorated with courting and landscape scenes, the dial signed "Leroy Hger/du Roy", the underside of the urns with gold crown mark with intertwined Cs. Provenance: From the Private Collection of Veronica Holmes, Atlanta, Georgia. Approx. h. 30.5", w. 15.25", d. 8.25" (clock); h. 29", w. 13.5", d. 7" (one urn).

Condition

Some loss of gilding to porcelain and to bronze mounts, clock is not in working condition - would recommend professional servicing, keys and pendulum are present, no apparent visible chips, cracks, or restorations.
