Monumental Continental Renaissance Revival carved and oak bibliotheque, late 19th century, having an ogee cornice on a molded frieze with applied foliate and fruit decoration, over two doors with chicken wire, flanking twisted columns and sides with carved satyr heads holding game and fishing trophies, rising on a molded plinth encompassing carved fruit and two drawers with satyr mask pulls, apparently unmarked. Approx. h. 93.5", w. 74", d. 22".

Finish stripped to bare wood. Scattered small chips, loss, and repairs to carvings, wire loose is some spots, loss to door trim, a few rough spots, staining to interior shelves, and scattered dark spots.
