Description

William Somerset Maugham (Irish 1874-1965), first edition of "The Razor's Edge", published by Doubleday, Doran & Co. Garden City, New York, 1944, signed by author on half-title page and numbered 719 of 750. Medium octavo, red board cover, gilt top edge, and with gilt lettering to spine, with cover. Approx. 8.75" X 6".

Condition

Fading to case, applied lettering to spine is uneven with losses to edges and one corner slightly raised, foxing to fore edge with some to endpapers, toning, bookplate and personalized ink inscription, spine and hinges are intact.
