A Modern American patinated bronze sculpture in the shape of a buffalo standing on a rock in the manner of Charles Marion Russell. The sculpture is adorned with textured fur, forward facing, mouth ajar, and a naturalistic made base. Mounted to the marble base. Circa: late 20th century to early 21st century. Unmarked. Charles Marion Russell, 1864 to 1926), also known as C. M. Russell, Charlie Russell, and Kid Russell, was an American artist of the American Old West. He created more than 2000 paintings of cowboys, Native Americans, and landscapes set in the western United States and in Alberta, Canada, in addition to bronze sculptures.
