Lot made up of two glass sculptures; one of them is in the shape of a sphinx, while the other shows the face of a young woman, modelled on a translucent surface in a square format. Both pieces stand out for the delicacy and elegance of their forms, a characteristic associated in turn with the support, as the transparency of the glass exudes a sense of fragility. Both the Baccarat glass factory and Sévres are popular for their great mastery and quality in the glass technique. Both firms are located in France.
