Description
George Greenamyer (American, born 1939). A hand made Modernist ceramic table base produced with glazed and unglazed stoneware. Commissioned by Vladimir Kagan, and produced in small numbers during the 1970s. A rugged, architectural Brutalist sculptural form, reminiscent of contemporary work from the same period produced in La Borne, France. Used as a cocktail or side table. Four steel rods set into corners provide stability, and a level surface for the glass. Impressed signature to side GREENAMYER.
Dimensions: 15.5 X 16 X 15.5 in.
Condition: Good to fair overall condition having normal age related surface wear. Estate fresh to the market.
