The geodes are slightly elongated and ovoid, professionally cut and then polished on the outer most rings to reveal the banding layers that surrounds the vug (small cavity). The vugs are covered in quartz druse, the layer of crystalline structures that occur naturally - each is a variation of gray, blue, and semi translucent white hues.
