Large group of photographs from the collection of Charles Stats. Those who knew Charles will tell you he was a diligent researcher. This lot is for what remains of his photo and negative collection. A fair amount of materials were donated to museums, this is the remainder. There are railroads from coast to coast and some incredibly scarce photos of short line railroads. Some of the highlighted railroads include New York Central, Wabash, Monon, Chicago Illinois & Midland, Chicago West Pullman & Southern, Indiana Harbor Belt, Duluth Missabe and Iron Range, Denver and Rio Grande Western, Western Maryland, and much much more.
