Diné (Navajo), (20th century), a sterling silver peyote box with hinged lid, stamped, chased and inlaid in coral, shell, turquoise and jet, featuring Native American figures, an eagle holding an American flag, a tipi, and various peyote-related images, stamped with the artist's maker's mark, together with an associated silver-tone pipe.

Not marked for silver content; silver content tests for sterling. The bottom of the box is brass. The pipe also unmarked for silver. Good condition overall with some general tarnishing, scuff, light surface scratches and wear commensurate with age. One corner of the box pops up slightly when closed. A few scattered very minor losses to inlay. Some silver polish residue scattered about. One face with shell/mother-of-pearl elements overpainted cream
