Red-painted Child's Slant-lid Desk, Rhode Island, c. 1735, the lid opens to a three-tiered interior of seven drawers above a case of three drawers on a flat molded base, ht. 33, writing surface ht. 22 1/4, wd. 21 3/4, dp. 16 1/2 in.
