DESCRIPTION: A signed Anatole Krasnyansky "Dancing a Jig" serigraph with ink drawing on linen painting. Hand signed on the lower right; Numbered #84319 on verso. Framed. Krasnyansky was a prominent architect and watercolorist when he left the U.S.S.R. for the United States in 1975. He pioneered a new watercolor technique by introducing paper texture into his creative process. Krasnyansky works in two distinct styles – one depicts traditional European cityscapes and the other, more recently developed, focuses on surreal figural compositions.
