A vintage large calligraphy brush, crafted from wood with a layer of Cloisonne enamel on exterior. Bristles appear to be made from horse hair. Handle is cobalt blue enamel with motifs of cherry blossoms and blue toned flowers. The wooden end of the brush is adorn with flower motifs in various colored enamels. Approximately 16.5 inches long. Bristles are approximately 4 inches long. Condition is consistent with vintage age and use. Bristles are stained black from use.
