Wheeler(?) and president Roger Averill. Located in Mountain Wells district, Churchill County, Nevada. Issued in payment for mining property. 25c Certificate revenue stamp. Rock near the surface assayed at $30 to $135 and at one hundred and forty feet $1,500 a ton. The Mountain Wells district is usually referred to as the La Plata district.
