early 19th century, three part form, mahogany veneer, oak and pine secondary, molded cornice above a vertically veneered frieze, two large hinged upper cabinet doors with molded mullions, louvered shelved interior, the base with applied reeded top edge, upper pull-out butler's drawer with fall front panel opening to reveal a divided interior, above three long graduated cock beaded drawers, flush platform base.

Shelves with later facing to conceal lighted elements (not tested or guaranteed to be in working order); missing reeded component to the top of the base to support the side/rear of the upper bookcase (one side molding present but loose); later baize writing surface; butler desk lock present but loose; later pulls with plug holes; sun fading to case especially on left side.
