George III Inlaid Mahogany Tea Caddy
19th century, sarcophagus form with floral medallion ring handle mounts, light and dark wood banded border inlay, inlaid escutcheon with key, raised on paw feet, opens to twin hinge-lidded compartments flanking a central well with cut crystal glass. Included is a Kings pattern tea caddy shell spoon, no Assay mark, mark likely of John Blake, 1820 date mark, with period script monogram, includes key.

Some small areas of inlay cracks and loss; some peel to varnish; chipping and cracks to glass; some looseness to feet; remnants of original lining to interior tea compartments.
