both in the Louis XVI taste, the clock movement stamped for S. Marti
the rectangular case surmounted by a low oval twin handled pedestal urn with floriate finial, the sides with applied elaborate ribbon-tied floral and fruiting festoons and floral vase and crossed thyrsus trophy mounts about a 4' floral enamel dial, on plinth base and toupie feet, the brass twin train movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell, with double maskhead pendulum, the garniture of urn form with naturalistic flowering branches on half fluted column and footed square bases, the clock, 41.5cm high, the garniture, 35.5cm high (3)
