Chinese Yuan Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain Small Plate. The plate has a broad central interior, flori rounded mouth lip, thick, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in blue and white color, depicted of elder standing surrounded with dense tree, flowers bloom and scrolling interlocking tendril. Blue and white porcelain in Chinese it is called Qing Hua Ci. It is the most important variety of China’s porcelain. It was originated in the Yuan Dynasty.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
