Pair Antique Chinese Huanghuali cabinets, with open shelf and open-work carved aprons above the four doors. Mounted with huangtong brass lock handles and hinges. Raised on four prominent legs. Smooth Lustrous fine grain with golden honeyed tone and swirling grain showing "ghost faces" patina. Huanghuali, or yellow flowering pear wood, Originally know as huali or huali, the color can range from reddish-brown to golden-yellow. The sweet fragrance of huali distinguishes it from the similar appearing but pungent-adored hongmu.
