Chinese Ming Dynasty Wanli Wucai Porcelain Plate. The plates has a broad wide central interior, rounded mouth lip, thick and large, raised on correspondence footed ring base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against wucai design color, depicted of three mythical beast on the forest surrounded with dense tree, flowers bloom and scrolling ruyi. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring lines. Made in The Years Wanli Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
