Both canvases have been lined circa 1970-1980 and presumably cleaned at the same time. No major damage or repairs noted. Examination by UV light suggests minor strengthenings to the outlines of the costume of the girl, and fewer minor strengthenings to the boy's costume. Both frames look presentable, with antique gilding but also repairs and strengthenings are present on the reverse.
