Description
Chinese. Of rectangular form, the table top inlaid with pieces of mother-of-pearl with the scene depicting the famous first meeting between King Wen of Zhou, on the bridge with attendants and the self-exiled military strategist Jiang Ziya living as a humble fisherman, the border adorned with floral scrolls. Late Qing Dynasty period.
