ASIAN: Chinese center table, c. 1900, in two parts, top inset with grey marble with striations, pierced panel skirt carved with geometric medallions, fruit and scrolling foliate vines, folding base with six serpentine legs terminating in stylized paw foot, heavy wear consistent with age and use including cracks to marble top, checking, scratches, old repairs, etc., sold as is, 33" h. x 40 1/4" diam. [PROVENANCE: Owned by Charlie Toy of Toy's Restaurant, Milwaukee, and photographed in 1913 and 1923.] [LITERATURE: "Images of Chinese Milwaukee" by David B.
