THIS IS A PREMIUM LOT. PLEASE SEE PAYMENT CONDITIONS BELOW.

This is an authentic, antique, Chinese Qing dynasty, 19th century hardwood bench that was supposed to go to Christies New York for their important LIVE Sale during Asia Week in March 2022. However, there was an intense, East Coast snowstorm that prevented the carrier from taking it to New York City in time to be photographed for the Christies catalog.

The head of the Chinese Works of Art Department and a Chinese furniture expert, gave this bench a friendly estimate of $12,000-$18,000 USD in order to encourage bidding, she had also suggested that it could achieve between $18,000 and $24,000 USD or more. The bench is being offered here at half the Christies -friendly- estimate, which is a very good buying opportunity for you.

The winner of this beautiful antique Chinese hardwood bench will receive a copy of the original estimates sent to the consignor from Christies giving the estimate in writing.

This item breaks down into smaller parts for greater ease in transportation and shipping.

Size: The size of the bench assembled for use is approx. 31 in. H x 75 in. W x 28 in. D
Seat height: 15 in. If desired, the arms and back can be disassembled and laid flat on the seat base for more compact shipping. The measurement for shipping this bench. disassembled and laid more flat, will be approximately 75 in. W by 20 in. H.
