Description

Three (3) Canadian. 1947. Each piece single sided porcelain (SSP). "Motor Oil" banner exhibits four hits resulting in 1-2" patches of porcelain loss. The white areas of the sign exhibit varying degrees of surface etch. Scattered minor scratches and porcelain losses are evident at extreme edges. The banners retain their rare mounting brackets at upper and lower edges. This "numbers matching" example has remained its entire life together as one set. "Gasoline" banner stamped, "P&M 47" lower right edge. White Rose sign marked "P&M 47" lower center. 36" diameter; banners 15.5" x 94.5".
