Description
American. 1910s. Painted cast iron, brass and copper. The original ID strip which is fixed to the front of the base is heavily worn and hardly legible. These ornate steam engines were specially designed to accompany Cretors popcorn vending machines. As with the popcorn machines, the engine was finely decorated to attract customers at fairs and other social events. Serial number "3765" stamped on block.
