BUILDER'S PLATING HALF HULL MODEL FOR THE SHIPS M.V. "EILDON" AND "RONAN"
Circa 1938
Built up in six lifts of old pine. Hull plating diagram drawn in India ink, with details of through hull fittings and overlaps. Inscribed on the deck "M.V. 419 Eildon & M.V. 423 Ronan", and on the back "419". Model appears to have been modified at the stern, probably a change for the second ship made from this model, the M.V. Ronan.
8.25" x 64.5".

Various minor damages across the surface of the hull from age and handling; at the stern the area around the propeller shaft housing is damaged and missing a small section.
