DESCRIPTION: (2 Pc) A pair of antique French chinoiserie enameled porcelain and bronze floral vases. Designed with vanilla-colored porcelain in a square form. The porcelain body is adorned with reticulated central motifs on the front and the back sides, depicting a floral vase with a large bouquet of flowers, and painted in a contrasting celeste blue enamel color. With additional painted motifs, such as red and blue cartouches with motifs such as: a cricket, a shell, books and musical instruments; a dragonfly, a fish, a snail, and a mask. These pair of matching vases are surmounted on a bronze ornate plinth base, and are further embellished with an ornate bronze rim, and pair of dragon handles with pendant motifs.
