American Carved Mahogany Pedestal, early 20th c., the stepped rounded edge square top on a tapered ring turned support, to an integral carved square base, on a plinth with block feet, H.- 36 1/2 in., W.- 15 in., D.- 15 in. Provenance: from the Estate of Dr. Peter Elwood Dorsett, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Condition
Condition is consistent with age and use. The top is 15 inches x 15 inches. Some minor surface scratching to top. A few small dings to column. General minor wear to feet. Handsome example.
