Description

A heavy cast iron garden chair with scrolled frame, and legs leading to hairy paw feet, mid 19th century or earlier. Condition: Missing a narrow tie-bar at the top that connects the sides, and loss to rear foot (note that according to family history, loss was due to chair sitting under the same tree for over a century and the tree grew around the base of chair and when it was moved, the leg broke and family did not try to remove the broken part). It measures 27"W x 26"D x 31 3/4"H.
