A Moroccan jambiya A Moroccan jambiya, late 19th century, 9.5in blade with white metal mounts, the sheath with engraved decoration, 42cm overall, a similar brass example, 10in blade, with engraved geometric decoration, 44cm overall, a white metal example, with finely chased decoration, 9in blade, 40cm long, and a Sudanese robe or arm dagger, possibly Tuareg, with crocodile skin and leather scabbard, inscription and marks to the 9in blade, overall 37cm (4) Condition Report: Wooden-handled jambiya have movement in the handles/blades. Losses to the wooden handles, white metal example with a split to the small exposed wooden section of the handle. Wear and scuffs to the Tuareg dagger scabbard. General knocks and wear throughout.
