A fascinating painting of an orb shape, perhaps to symbolize the globe, depicting an alligator devouring a snake in a moonlight desert landscape by world-renowned artist and singer-songwriter Tom Russell. Russell surrounded the painting with a circular cardboard border painted with ten cacti against a blue ground. This vibrant composition is bold and expressive; yet it presents subtle details such as the yellow ochre outline surrounding the cacti and reptiles that create a warm glow. A wonderful work of art against a russet red ground to create a rich contrast, set behind glass in a custom frame.
