New York: Fishel, Adler, & Schwartz, 1856. Second edition. Hand-colored stipple engraving with aquatint. Engraved by Louis Adolphe Gautier after the painting by George Caleb Bingham. Mat burn in margins, scattered small spots in same; small chip at bottom center edge; pinholes in bottom corners; sheet trimmed, measuring 29 1/4 x 36 1/2 in. (74 x 93 cm). Stump Speaking is the second (of three) in George Caleb Bingham's famed series of American election scenes, painted from 1853-54. It is preceded by The County Election (painted in 1852) and followed by The Verdict of the People (painted in 1854-55).

The first edition of this print was published by Goupil & Co. (New York and Paris) in 1856. Later that same year, publication rights were taken over by Fishel, Adler, & Schwartz (New York) and published with their imprint.
