Notes: The inspiration for this work by Hendriks-Veda was Norman Rockwell's painting, "Shuffleton Barbershop," originally created as a cover for the April 29, 1950 issue of "The Saturday Evening Post." Rockwell's original is now owned by The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles, CA.

Condition
Visual: Good condition. Slight dust accumulation and grime commensurate with age. Occasional minor craquelure, mostly in the lower corners. A pea-size paint loss at the extreme right edge and another at the tip of the lower left corner. Stretcher bar creases showing mostly along the lower edge.
Blacklight: Apparently no restoration. Difficult to read under varnish.
