Item Details

Description

A large, cold blast Dietz signal lamp, embossed in the chimney "Made by R. E. Dietz Company, New York, USA". Lamp has a 8" diameter signal green Fresnel lens that is 6" tall. Fount and burner are intact, but the top tier may be a homemade replacement. The burner stem is missing the thumb wheel. The brass is relatively clean, and probably recently polished, in excellent condition with no stress cracks evident. Lamp is 25" tall to the top of the hanging loop and 11" from side to side on the air tubes. This is a rare marine lamp in superb condition. Condition: (Excellent). Dimensions: 10 - 1/2" x 10 - 1/2" x 25 - 5/8".
