Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain Hat stand. This porcelain potted with in a pot shape, thick, short neck, wide flaring round mouth rim, raise on reverse bowl with splayed foot base and deep concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of scrolling interlocking Ruyi and tendril, enclosed with rectangles auspicious petals. With deep and light glaze rendering, these blue and white patterns show up an ink painting artistic effect.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
