A signed photographic print (in frame that measures 22” x 31.5” inches) of President George W. Bush in a very serious moment speaking to a firefighter at Ground Zero. This was in the moments surrounding an impromptu speech President Bush gave to a group of rescue workers.

The photograph, coming from the 9/11 Tribute Museum was taken on September 14, 2001 is signed by then President George W. Bush, transcribed with “God Bless”.

In the uncertain days following the 9/11 attacks our nation was just beginning to process the devastating toll,
with feelings of shock, sadness, fear and anger. Meanwhile our nation’s heroes, our first responders, rescue and recovery workers were working nonstop. The search and rescue effort in the immediate aftermath at the World Trade Center helped to bring together the country, inspiring the nation and instilling hope in one of it’s darkest times.

Three days after the attack, then President George W. Bush visited Ground Zero. He told a chanting, cheering crowd of rescue and recovery workers, "I can hear you. The rest of the world hears you. And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon.”

He finished the speech by saying “The nation sends its love and compassion to everybody who's here. Thank you for your hard work. Thank you for making the nation proud, and may God bless America.”

The 9/11 Tribute Museum

More Than Just A Museum, The 9/11 Tribute Museum is a project of the September 11th Families’ Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded in 2006, originally created by the widows and families of the FDNY members who died in the attacks, as a support mechanism for all the victim's families.

On August 17, 2022, The museum was forced to close permanently, and will remain closed unless they can raise the appropriate funding. This due to a sharp decline in visitors and revenue since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
