EMERALD AND DIAMOND DRAGONFLY BROOCH
The wings pavé-set with old brilliant-cut diamonds, the thorax and abdomen set with step-cut emeralds in foiled and closed-back settings, with collet-set old brilliant-cut diamond eyes, diamonds approximately 6.00 carats total, length 6.0cm

Overall in good condition. Diamonds old brilliant cuts, a few of the smallest diamonds are old single cuts. Diamonds bright and lively with a few drawing colour, estimated as I/J/K, VS-P (mostly SI). Emeralds in closed back foiled settings, most exhibiting yellowish green colour, except the smallest one in the tail, one on the thorax and the head which are a more bluish green, all with good transparency and a few typical inclusions. Under 10 x magnification, one small chip seen to the girdle of one emerald, and one small chip to the edge of the table on another. Mount in good condition with minor surface wear. Wings set in silver on gold, the body and legs in gold.
