Condition
It is rare to see a Georgian longchain of this length still intact with this type of elaborate linking. One ring with repeating geometric pattern slightly loose and no longer sitting where it should within the interlocking group. A few central rings with scrolling motifs have some small shallow dents visible upon close inspection; one slightly misshapen/off-round. Gold with light surface wear and a few areas of discolouration commensurate with age. Turquoise of light to medium blue hues, a few discoloured to greenish blue and some brown veining visible under 10 X magnification. One turquoise with small chips to top and outer edge of cabochon. Overall in good condition. Links and clasp test as gold, varying from 14ct to 18ct gold. Gross weight approx. 73.0 grams.
