The pierced ribbon bow with scalloped edges, set throughout with old brilliant and single-cut diamonds, accented by a central cushion-shaped diamond, weighing 1.21 carats, mounted in silver and gold, later detachable brooch fitting, remaining diamonds approximately 15.00 carats total, length 6.8cm, fitted case by Collingwood Ltd., 46 Conduit Street, London

Condition
Principal cushion-shaped diamond, weighing 1.21 carats, assessed unmounted as SI1-2 clarity, J/K colour. Remaining old brilliant and single-cut diamonds very approximately 15.90 carats total, estimated in settings as VS2-SI2 clarity (a few SI3-I1 clarity) and H-M+ (tinted brown) colour. Unmarked/untested silver and gold with some areas of discolouration. Inventory number, '855', scratched in to reverse by hand. Later brooch fitting and old solder lines visible to centre on reverse indicating where jewel has been adapted to form a brooch. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approx. 21.70 grams.
