DIAMOND DOUBLE-CLIP/BROOCH, CIRCA 1940
Of openwork geometric form with scrolling detail, set throughout with old brilliant and single-cut diamonds, accented by baguette-cut diamonds and two collet-set old brilliant-cut diamonds, diamonds approximately 16.50 carats total, length 8.8cm

Two principal collet-set diamonds each very approximately 0.75 carat. Diamonds estimated VS1-SI1 clarity, H-J colour. Two small areas on front one clip with spots of old solder (one area black solder and the other yellow). Further spots of black and yellow solder visible to reverse of same clip. On reverse of other clip, spots of black solder to base of short supporting pins and one of the longer pins on hinge is slightly bent. Unmarked/untested white metal with light surface wear. A few areas of pitting visible around scrollwork gallery under 10 X magnification. Unmarked/untested white metal frame with some scratches/shallow dents. Overall in good condition. Gross weight including frame approx. 60.0 grams.
