Realm Engineering has been synonymous with developing a variety of excellent products over the past few decades. From its early beginnings as Commercial GRP manufacturers, Realm Engineering have made products for some of the best-known names in the UK industry and items as diverse as motorcycle topbox and panniers to Foden Lorry cabs, to supplying GRP speciality car bodies.
Like many other legendary sports cars, the XKSS inspired a number of imitations, and this example is the work of marque specialists Realm Engineering. The car incorporates a Reynard Racing-designed chassis and a 4.2-litre triple-Weber XK engine, the latter rebuilt by renowned experts Leaping Cats in March 2022. Other notable features include a Toyota five-speed gearbox adding to its drivability. Correctly registered as a Realm with the DVLA, the car was painstakingly built over a decade and this careful approach is reflected in its build quality and condition. Finished in British Racing Green with Sage Green leather interior, this beautifully constructed car is a real head turner. Accompanying paperwork consists of restoration invoices, current MoT and a V5C document, while the apt period registration ('55 KXJ', read it backwards) is included in the sale.
