This special edition was created to honour the construction of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a recreation of the world's first universal library, built in 331 BC and lost in antiquity. The octagonal sterling silver nib is engraved with the name of the library in Latin and Arabic. The medium-sized nib is made of 18 carat rhodium-plated two-tone gold.
